Biography

In my poetry and educational writing, I respond to the climate crisis building both from science and our human connection to landscape, creatures and phenomena.

While I have written poetry all my life, I spent four decades working in the field of adult education. I was able to weave climate change and its consequences into curriculum, teacher training and policy and regulatory development. Working with students, teachers and policy makers we connected our lived experience of changes in weather, seasons, and the land to build an understanding of what drives those changes and what we can do. My poetry is the same, but through a different door.
